She stepped into Charlie’s role after his d:eath
Only weeks after Charlie’s d:eath, it was announced that Erika would take over as CEO of Turning Point USA.
Founded by Charlie in 2012, The organization became one of the most recognizable conservative youth movements in the country, particularly on college campuses.
Erika made it clear early on that she intended to continue her husband’s mission rather than step away from public life.
Speaking on The Charlie Kirk Show, she addressed concerns about the future of the podcast and media platform that Charlie built.
“My husband’s voice will live on,” she said.
“The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on.
“It is going to be continually the north star of the conservative movement, of the voice of the youth, of the voice of the base, and that will not end.”
Since taking over leadership responsibilities, Erika has appeared at multiple TPUSA events and political conferences across the country.
