A drink every morning: say goodbye to diabetes, hypertension, swollen feet, and poor blood circulation.
Full Method
Option 1: The Blender Method (Quickest)
Prep: Roughly chop your peeled ginger and turmeric roots.
Blend: Add the chopped ginger, turmeric, fresh lemon juice, black pepper, and water into a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until completely pulverized.
Strain: Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer, nut milk bag, or cheesecloth into a glass jar, pressing down on the pulp to extract every last drop of liquid.
Serve: Pour into a glass and enjoy at room temperature, or gently warm it up if you prefer a comforting tea.
Option 2: The Stovetop Simmer Method (Deeper Flavor)
Prep: Thinly slice or grate the ginger and turmeric.
Simmer: Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the sliced ginger, turmeric, and black pepper. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer gently for 15 minutes.
Finish: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in the fresh lemon juice (adding lemon at the end preserves its Vitamin C content).
Strain & Serve: Strain the liquid into a mug or jar, discarding the solid roots.
